Health Insurance Informational Meeting - 09/07/2011

To meet with Blue Cross representatives who will review the Rhode Island Builder'sHealth Insurance Plans being offered for plan year November 1, 2011. Changes coming up: ...Vantage Blue will replace most of the Healthmate and Blue Chip Plans. ...Vantage Blue Plans all have deductibles starting at $250.00. ...ID numbers will change as your plan does. ...Prescription co-pays will change ...Deductible plans will change to plan year.  Currently everyone is on a calendar year deductible. Options: ...You can choose your deductible.  Right now everybody is going to be enrolled into a deductible plan closest to their current plan. ...You can retain your prescription co-payment of $7/$30/$50/$75 with a buy up option. (available only on certain plans) ...You can retain your calendar year deductible, simply by filling out an amendment to the sales agreement. ...High Deductible Health Plans and Health Savings Accounts, once you have met your deductible you wil have prescription co-payments. If you want to make changes to your plans, paperwork must be submitted by September 28th. This meeting is geared to our members who currently have health insurance through the Rhode Island Builders Association.  However, everyone is welcome.  RIBA offers it's health insurance program to it's RI members and their employees.
